Vision
The long-term vision of the strategy is to contribute to the creation of a society in which citizens are empowered with the knowledge and resources necessary to protect their health, improve their wellbeing, and participate actively in shaping healthier environments.
This vision recognizes that health is not merely the absence of disease but a broader condition of physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
A healthier society is one in which individuals:
- understand how nutrition affects their bodies;
- have access to reliable health information;
- are aware of environmental influences on health;
- are capable of making informed lifestyle choices.
Such a society is also one in which vulnerable populations are supported and included in public health initiatives.
Mission
The mission of the initiative is to promote preventive health education and environmental awareness through civil society cooperation, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups across Europe.
This mission will be pursued through:
- educational programs;
- public awareness campaigns;
- scientific dialogue;
- cross-border NGO cooperation;
- engagement with policymakers and academic experts.
